Miriam Holsbeke is a Los Angeles based Actress who, when not sporting her snorkel set and collecting seashells at the beach, frequently plays resilient heroines with adventurous spirits and great emotional ranges.

With a warm, bubbly and tenacious heart, Miriam braved the cold Connecticut winters with her Mom, Dad and younger brother before trading out her puffer coat and finding her way out west. 

Miriam spent the earlier years of her life on a little farm in rural Granby, Connecticut before moving to the academically acclaimed suburb of West Hartford, where she continued her education all the way through her Bachelors in Fine Arts degree at The University of Hartford. 

While studying Actor Training at the Hartt School, Miriam dedicated four years to a rigorous study of Acting, Movement and Vocal techniques, including an intensive exploration of Shakespeare at the Drama Studio London. 

During her educational years she toured as Miranda in the original cast of Kissed the Girls and Made Them Cry, written by Arlene Hutton. The tour had notable stops at stages such as the Barrows Group in New York City and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.

Since graduating from University, Miriam has worked on stage and in film Bi-Coastally and can be seen in roles on Networks including The Investigation Discovery Network, Oxygen, Pluto TV and Comedy Central’s Youtube channel. Her work extends to a variety of dramatic and comedic short films and a Leading Series Regular role on an Indie Comedy Pilot, Channel 92. 

Miriam prides herself on her ability to bring truth and empathy to each character she plays. She is passionate about highlighting the strength of women and approaching her stories with dignity and joy.

When not acting, Miriam enjoys spending her time surfing, swimming in the ocean and pranking her friends.
